Challenges for caregivers supporting patients with ALL undergoing long-term treatment

During the recent ambassador meeting, our ambassadors discussed the challenges for caregivers supporting patients with ALL undergoing long-term treatment.

Firstly, the role of patient organizations in supporting caregivers, the need to tailor services, and the need to bring more attention to the currently available support were discussed. Then, the ambassadors outlined the financial impact of ALL on caregivers, including future plans to support with the extra cost of time off work, traveling to appointments, and medication; the impacts on family members who are not the primary caregiver and how they can be supported was also discussed.
